Australians live by the coast. We're byCOASTAL. The coast shapes our being. It is who we are and how we live.

byCOASTAL Pavilion Homes are home designers and builders based in Palm Cove Queensland.

Our Australian coastline comprises endless stretches of beach, headland, island and harbour through 30 degrees of latitude from Tasmania to the Torres Strait islands. From rocky shores and headlands, sculpted by the storms of the southern ocean, to the beaches, cays and islands gently formed by caressing tropical trade winds in the northern regions.

In Australia, we live on the coast because our climate allows us to take full advantage of the best of land and sea. In summer the entire coastline is a playground. In the tropics however we can enjoy all of the pleasures of our coast both summer and winter.

On the east coast of our continent our relationship with the sea is about rising suns and moons. It is about optimism - new dawns - new days - new experiences - new ways to live. As more of us are discovering the delights of living in the tropics we are looking to engage more completely with our natural, tropical, coastal environment.

Most of our time is spent in and around our personal living spaces with friends and family. Those of us who already live in the tropics of North Queensland know how we live our outdoor/indoor lifestyle - sunshine and shade - hot and cool - as the mood takes us.

byCOASTAL Living is about capturing the essence of our tropical Australian lifestyle and designing accordingly. The byCOASTAL Pavilion Home concept evolved in Palm Cove north Queensland. We build homes for the Australian tropics; home designs with equatorial influences from near and far yet always within our tropical north Queensland context.
